Who expected a media return RuneScape ? No wait, it is again: who knew RuneScape ? Yet it is a renowned classic, a pioneering browser MMO genre with which many players have grown since it was originally launched in 2001! It seems that developers Jagex decided to give it a new life with a facelift and other surprises. What also restore its name?
I had to really try to play once in RuneScape , although the second version in 2004 (perhaps the arrival of RuneScape in French?). It was already an old MMO at the time and wondering why people are still playing. Indeed, the question is valid for many titles, and I'll try to come back in another article soon. But technically, RuneScape is a free browser game, it still shows very austere. The phenomenon is, however, definitely there: still 2 million subscribers, and several million active players.
